...I've been listening to the game tonight, and it sounds no different to what was going on last season. We scored (against the run of play - but well done lads) - only to eventually let the opposition take control of the game (getting shots on target) until eventually the last ten minutes is all about what they're doing to us. We're under pressure pressure pressure. Eventually we conceed the inevitable late goal (albeit through the quality defending of a player who is just not at the races this season). As soon as the goal goes in we're disgusted with ourselves and spring into life - back up the other end we get a chance (thanks to great play from Macken it would seem) and tuck away a penalty. Now 99% of the time we don't get that last minute chance and we don't tuck a winner away. Don't get me wrong - I'm delighted that we've got a win away from home - but I'm really not convinced. I do hope we draw confidence though and carry that into Saturday. Breathing room for Davey? Almost certainly.
