    Davey out i'm afraid.

His own words at the start of the season were let me be judged on my own team.

Leauge table says it all i'm afraid.

And for all of those who think we'll walk division 3 next year should the worst happen due to the players in squad, do you
    honestly believe they'll stay?

    I Agree, Davey should leave.

Hassell was a liability today and at Preston as well, he has no vision and stats show that his pass completion is only 62%.
Togwell should be there in midfield and would have made a great difference.
The crowd today were great and nothing more could have been asked from them but the players could not respond, yes we were unlucky to hit the woodwork and have a stone wall penalty decision turned down but Leicester were Nervy from the start and Davey should have motivated the players more.

IF..... we stay up it will be through the efforts of other teams and not because of Daveys managements skills.

To quote Ian Applayard from the Yorkshire post.

Simon Davey has a arrogance to rival many seasoned managers when talking to the press, however his lack of managierial experience and success gives him no right to talk down to them, as he often does when defending his team selections.

The blessing is that Shepherd is leaving so hopefully a new dynamic chairman will see right through Daveys experience and promote him back to the acadamy.

    Hassell

I said exactly the same about Hassell at Preston. His poor performance was overlooked because we won but it was followed by equally bad ones yesterday and against Hull.

I like Bobby Hasell, he has always done a good job in defensive roles but he simply isnt good enough to play at this level in his curent role against natural midfield players.

Davey is simply accomodating him at the moment as he has with Odejaye for far too long and it could contribute to our relegation.

yet hassel was one of our better midfielders, ran his B*ll*cks out put in challenges all over the pitch. he maynot be the best midfielder but he never hid.

"IF..... we stay up it will be through the efforts of other teams"

I find this statement somewhat incredible

"IF..... we stay up it will be through the efforts of other teams and not because of Daveys managements skills."

We have already got a points total that in every season bar one since the number of teams in the league became 24 would ensure safety. We should pick up the remaining point to be absolutely sure in any case. Davey is likely to give us our highest league finish for years.

I think its too soon to be talking of changing the manager again - who would we get thats better, and before you answer think about how many of the Managers since Wilson have done any better. Most have done a lot worse.

I think Davey should start next season in charge. Maybe mid season if we are still struggling (if in Championship) or not in contention for promotion (if we go down) we should have a rethink, but we have changed managers without sucess so often in the last 10 years I cant quite understand why people thing it will work next time

    RE: Hassell

is not a midfielder. He runs around the field getting the odd tackle in, but cannot pass to save his life. We should get rid in the summer, as he looked woeful at times last season, and I believe he is a League One player at best.

I'm glad you think he's not good enough. Just two things really.....

    1. What ever you're likely to say about football, and possibly most other things, reality is almost certainly going to be the opposite.

    2. Whilst the continued damning of the club, management, board etc has always provided most people on here with firm evidence of your obvious lack of support, not once do you offer any intelligent alternatives, backed up by facts and sensibly delivered.

You never know - people may start listening if you start saying something.
