    Driving down - any recommendations for parking? Ideally somewhere I can then jump on the Tube relatively near by.

    And I've tried to tell misen to shut the f.ck up and it hasn't let me so I'm obviously not allowed to be a plank.

    I'm sure we parked at Watford when we drove down. Was a ball ache getting the tube from Wembley and the crowd was only about 70,000. Still better than trying to drive around that area though.

    Stanmore station is the one you want. Stick it in google maps, I used it in 2008 and for the Conference Play Off Final in 2009 all without issue. It's straight off the motorway with a great big car park.

    Yeah Stanmore, be careful though, years ago you could park your car around the tube station for nowt but in recent times there seems to have been car parks popping up charging a fee, don't know how much they charge these days but l only paid £5 a few year back.

    Only problem with Stanmore is the queuing to get out afterwards, we were stuck for 2 hours in 2008

    A few have said this but we were lucky and got off pretty much straight away, no hold ups. Stanmore is definitely the best place for Wembley.

    We went Stanmore in 2008 and we got out pretty quickly, tube is really quick too, think we paid something like £2.60 for a return. Probably be about £8 these days
