I'm heartbroken

    My beautiful, sweet natured, gentle, little dog Bella died this afternoon. She's not been well for a while now. But this afternoon, whilst I cradled her in my arms, she quietly passed away. I'd like to think she's had a happy life, all fourteen and a half years of it, filled with love and affection.
    My little sweetheart will now be waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge.
    I think I'll take a bit of a break from the BBS now, as football means nothing to me.

    I'm so sorry Kev I've had dogs all my life and when one passes it is truly heart breaking my thoughts are with you and your family.

    Losing a fur kid is like losing part of your soul. Feel for you and I'm sure you'll know that the love and affection wasn't a one-way street and Bella felt your love for her as much as she gave it to you.

    Lost mine a month ago Kev. 13 and half he was. Not afraid to say he was my best mate. I cried buckets at the vets when I held him as he was put to sleep.
    Words truly can't express the grief we encounter at losing something so cherished.

    our little shi-tzu has been unwell for a while now, poor thing sometimes just lies there and whimpers if you pick her up.

    really sorry to hear that mate

    sincere condolences, its the one downside of having a dog I think, people who aren't animal lovers won't get it but its just like losing a member of the family
