Not bothered about Lions but am lookikng forward to the Ashes Last one here generated so much excitement - great to watch - not as good as 81 but still great entertainment
Great to see the best of British Rugby Union players all playing for one another.... South Africa will be a tough call though, but the Brits will come through what will be a monster battle and win.... Great game i reckon....
I can't get into Lions on tour because they are struggling to beat club sides even before the proper matches start.
RE: Not bothered about Lions but am lookikng forward to the Ashes I'm lokking forward to the ashes too BUT why does the summer break have to be so long!! Its even worse when there is no senior tournament to watch. I cannot wait for the season to start again. Rugby /poo Tennis /poo Golf /poo /poo /poo /poo /poo F1 /poo /poo /poo
The Lions hardly win anything and the English Rugby league team are failures too- always get built up to win Major competitions i.e. World Cup and fail. I'll stick to football thanks .
The Lions have only lost 1 of their 6 warm up games and have handed out a couple of big defeats, albeit against club sides but those club sides are of a very good standard with internationals playing for them. Although I think SA will be too good for them. The England rugby team won the WC in 2003 and got to the final in 2007, can't ask for much more. I will watch any sport, even golf. My favourites in order - Football, Cricket, Boxing, Rugby U, Rugby L, all the others. Edit, - just realised you meant England Rugby League
I'd go - Football, Tennis, Cricket, Rugby League - Super League, Challenge Cup, Golf, Boxing. I hardly ever watch Rugby Union.
Luckily we have a cracking sporting event coming up in a couple of weeks The Tour de France - the most watched sporting event in the world and one of the most exciting IMO
