my glass us usually half-full etc. I did vote remain, and from watching the BBC news, Scotland will have another independence referendum before 2020 and will leave - why wouldn't they, I would. If they subsequently join the EU, we will need a passport to go to Scotland ffs! Sinn Fein are already asking for similar with a view to joining the Republic of Ireland - it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see guns and bombs back on the streets of Belfast. This is the most worrying aspect, something that I never thought about and I never heard mention of during the campaign. The second most worrying thing is that Boris Johnson might be Prime Minister before winter - doesn't bear thinking about. People of Britain - you have not thought this through. Boris and Trump, god help us.
Nicola Sturgeon would have had a referendum anyway...that's why the party exists...all this vote has done is bring it forward . I think Scotland might well vote to stay again. I'm not sure how it will affect N. Ireland....but the UK and Republic Govts. will move heaven and earth to keep it sweet....first thing could be a tariff free border...if the EU really believes in peace they would make an exception whatever the trade agreement with the rest of the UK.
Or maybe France and holland will get there refurendums before 2020 and the EU will be all but over by then.
No realist thinking maybe some more country's will go tits up before then and get bailed out too who knows
Northern Ireland was already stirring with nascent violence before the vote. This is probably the single most-worrying consequence.
