but strangely on the front of my season ticket it says BARNSLEY F.C. not I love/hate Wilson so whoever MY club appoint I will give them my 100% support, and not vitriolically pick fault at every opportunity like a few of the trolls. ooops sorry "FANS" seem to do on here. the reason I'm not a Wilson fan is not what he did but how I've been told he went about it
Agreed Jedi. Initially he wouldn't have been my choice. Given the option, I'd still have gone for warnock, as our best chance of survival. But above all else, the appointment needs to unify the fan base as much as possible. As the days have passed, the groundswell for Wilson has gained momentum. He's not going to recreate the magic of '96, but right now I think he's the right choice. All that said, we saw how the pendulum swung for Flitcroft. Exactly the same could happen with Wilson. I'm gonna judge with my head this time. It'll be nice to have a manager who doesn't talk complete boll0cks though!
They all talk ******** when they are losing, but when winning are up there with the Poet Laureate Tomf. Nature of the fans I`m afraid.
the thing is are the club going to plug the gaps and blindly stagger forward until the next disaster ( just staying up and the same battle year after year) or if needs be take a step back regroup and do it properly ( stand a relegation and do a Swansea, southhampton, and dare I say man city) we've all got to keep the faith ( I remember another club with that motto) give the new gaffer a 3/4 year deal and some cash to get some youth and some experience in, build a rock steady base and work up from that alla Liverpool in the 70's. if you've got say a 10/12 year spread on your players when one moves on retires it doesn't knock the team dynamic because you've still got the other 10 in place and the new guy fits into the sysyem
