3 Golbourne 14 Wiseman 15 McNulty 25 Cranie 33 Kennedy 7 Dawson 8 O'Brien 11 Perkins 21 Mellis 23 Etuhu 24 Lazarus 9 Scotland 13 Dagnall 27 O'Grady 31 Clark 32 Rose 18 Jones 17 Digby Which gives us 14 really good championship players.......with some good young uns ready to come through..........so if need be there is plenty of room to bring new players in including new goalkeepers, centre backs, midfielders and forwards
McNulty ...........is he going to be the new Wiseman ????????? Because the bullying fans will have to pick someone out ............same old same old story Just get behind the players that play............McNulty was playing well the season before last but has had problems with injuries.............lets hope he comes back to be as good as he was
Mcnulty has never played well in a Barnsley shirt. And for the record, I've never said anything bad about wiseman, never thought he was as bad as people made out. Mcnulty is awful though.
Probably the same stuff as you were a year ago if you never saw him play well in a Barnsley shirt. This year he has been poor no doubt about that but the season before he had some very good performances
He had some very poor ones too though Farnham. Towards the end of the season he was a liability. Some real stinkers and it went on week after week. I was astonished when he won the player's player of the year. People say he was poor this season, but good last, but I don't agree with that. He had a few good months where he was good last season and a few others where he was terrible.
No offence, but I reckon a group of players who play with him everyday in training and in games and who also play football as a profesion, have a much more accurate opinion of him than yourself. To says he's never played well in Barnsley shirt is laughable.
You mean like you're doing with Steele who many rate as one of the best keepers outside of the premier league.
I find it ironic that the OP goes on to suggest others constantly find a scapegoat, when he seems to post a daily thread that seems to point the blame at club legend Hassell, and probable club legend Steele. And to those who think McNulty is gash, never played well etc etc, can I point you in the direction of Cranie, who has made as many mistakes as the next man this past season but seemingly too many for folk to remember as he's apparently the best defender we've got. And that isn't me digging him out, because I too rate the fella. But he's had his fair share of nightmares and was part of a relegation campaign at Coventry a year ago. Bobby is still the best defender at this club and all statistics available to us will show that to be fact. It's not about bias, or sentimentality, it's actual fact. Just as it's fact that he's as fit as the rest of them. Of course, he's a tad slower than most but that's been the case since he arrived in 2004. He's never been known for his pace. Personally, I want every one of the out of contract laikers to stay. But if they move on, they move on. Such is life.
McNulty's not a centre-back...be OK as back-up for Golborne though. As I think Kennedy is a bit too good for the bench, and deserves to to be first choice somewhere, but probably not here..
