I'm not disgusted with the sacking - disgusted with the timing!

    How is it even feasible to leave AR in the job after Saturday if the plan was to sack him this week anyway?

    We now have 48 hours (starting 40 minutes ago) to find a new manager and sign at least 3 players.

    If AR's sacking was going to be the outcome it would have been in the best interests of Barnsley football club to do it Saturday at 5pm

    Perfect excuse not to have signed anyone and GS can continue to balance the books with a huge grin on his face. Lets face it, Ritchie has had an impossible task bringing players in. The experienced ones who are still any good are out of our price/wage range and most of the youngsters (cheapos) the board seem to have been pushing for aren't the finished article, so no use to the Manager (Kazim Richards of course being the infuriating exception).

    results wise you cant argue with his dismissal,its the way our chairman has gone about it that disgusts me, softening ritchie up by slating him on on the radio last week before finally putting the boot in today,disgrace from start to finish.
