My first game this season tonight. Every time I go to watch BFC they put on a dull, uninspiring and lacklustre display. I'm beginning to think that I am jinxing games, so to give them a chance I'm not going to go anymore for a while. Then we might get back onto playing some decent footie.

Tonight we were completely outplayed, poor passing, weak shots, Baz falling arse over tit instead of scoring, how Wroe keeps his place god knows.

The manager played a weakened team against a stronger side in a division above us - WHY?

I'll send you that pint in the post.

    Would you like some crisps?

    RE: Tell you what.

It p1sses me off when we try and do this. Mainly because we had a at least a half decent chance of going through because Burnley are *****. If upon getting through, we draw a premier league club, which would almost certainly have been the case we could have made a large profit in gate funds, which in turn "might" have enabled us to either buy a player in the transfer window or pay for wages of a free player......it proper fecks me off!!

Another point is the poor souls who travelled the hour or so to the match which i was nearly one.:pff

How was it a weakened side?

    Flinders for Colgan
    Nardiello for Hayes
    Richards for Conlon.

I'd say that's about even. McPhail has been injured, and indeed is doubtful for Saturday as AR said at the press conference that he could still feel his injury and is likely to have a scan to assess it further. Reid and Carbon were both injured/not ready to return, but hopefully will be back at the weekend.

Put it this way, would you rather have won tonight or beat Donny? I know it's not necessarily an either/or, but had we risked this half fit players tonight, it could have made it more likely we'd lose on Saturday.
