I know for a fact, that one of the officials at one of the League fixtures today, was officiating the team that he supports.

    How can that be right?

Would that be the the one with the flag who gave the dubious Holt offside goal

No. A different game. No idea if there were any controversial decisions at this particular game, but I'm just surprised it's allowed. The person in question is someone I know, and I wouldn't question his professionalism, but I am shocked to see him officiating at that particular game. I'd have expected them to declare their preferred team, and not be given that team, for their own protection.

Happens unfortunately, if not it would be near impossible to ref games.
