    there's not much which could be said about the situation. It's no different,other than the obvious, of a similar situation with hetrosexuals. There have been moves afoot however to consider lowering the age of consent to 14/15 particularly in the light of increased sexual maturity of "youg'uns". A excellent basis for debate. I just wounder whether the school girl was nearer to 16 than 15, not that it makes any difference though because the law is the law.

    I find it interesting

    that if a male teacher does something sexual with a pupil then new articles refer to him as 'pervert teacher' or 'paedophile', if a female teacher does something sexual with a pupil she is referred to simply as a teacher and never labelled as anything else by the media.

    Spot on ST. Male or female if the student is under age then the teacher is a pervert. She should have known better and had the maturity and professionalism to have not got involved.
