What is the study? Blah blah Why should I take part? Blah blah Who can take part? Blah blah What happens next? In a few days you will receive a letter inviting you to take part in the online survey. Have I just had a letter contain an invite to a survey telling me I'm going to get a letter containing an invite to a survey?
I'm not saying the government wastes money I am, with bells & whistles on & owt else you care to throw on.
I emailed my MP after the vote to deny children free school meals. He sent me a reply via email and exactly the same written on fancy parliamentary paper so I then emailed him to ask him to stop wasting money and paper.
Will the reply to that come on fancy parliamentary paper? Just to prove they don't really read them. Reminds me of a situation in the past. In the control room we always complained about the planners just using copy and paste when booking outages. This was discussed at the next liaison meeting and the conclusions were written into the minutes of the meeting. Then copied and pasted twice, just for good measure. You can't make it up lol
Did you hear about the Welsh road sign? A few years ago, a council worker sent the text for a new road sign to the council translator it came back (very quickly) and the sign was printed up. It was only when someone that spoke Welsh saw it they realised it was actually an out of office message...
