I'm not someone who will lay on praise simply because we've won.

Fantastic from Heckingbottom in this match. Game plan worked perfectly against an opposition renowned for being decent going forward but very vulnerable at the back.

Dominated the opening proceedings to earn a 1-0 lead, and then used the counter attacking tactics that served us so well in South Wales to constantly soak up pressure and hit them on the break which presented us with plenty of opportunities to kill the game off.

That today was simply brilliant from all involved, with special shout-outs to Kent & MacDonald.

 

Yiadom was fantastic, as was Davies (bar the poor kick that nearly led to a goal).
