    round my local course southwick park last friday afternoon, par 68 so was well chuffed

    Shot a gross 73 off a handicap of 9 = Nett round of 64.</p>

    Scored 34 points stableford and won the competition.</p>

    Also won nearest the pin (9th hole, 58 degree wedge to 9ft)</p>

    Yes, off 10.</p>

    Hit a driver around 280 and a 5 iron around 190.</p>

    It would have to be a short par 3 for me to get a lob wedge out - say, 75 yards max.</p>

    I played a lot for years, got it down to 14, tee to green was'nt a problem, putting, oh dear, I lost more matches due to a touch like a rapist, I miss it though, great social game.

    9th hole was forward off winter tees but still played 105 yards. Hit 58 degree wedge to 9 feet.</p>

    Off normal tees playing actual card yardage (209 yards) I would have probably taken a 6 iron (wind behind)</p>
