been fighting off a cold for last couple of days but today its hit me full on Set off for Bristol but felt so bad turned round after 20 mins and am now back home with throat that feels like someone has sandpapered it streaming nose, headache and feeling shivery. Dont think I could have done 2.5 hours driving and sat in the cold for 2 hours then driven back again. Annoyingly I would have taken a sicky had it been a work day Only good thing is its only £12 wasted and not £27 l
It sounds really obvious but....
...what always works for me is long hot bath. I mean really hot and about 45 minutes. The cold nasties don't like the rise in temperature and it helps us to kill them. Nothing gets you hotter than a bath and you sweat like chuffery without the discomfort.
With a bit of luck you'll be on top of of it by Tuesday mate.

Cheers Never tried that - may give it a go a bit later before I go to bed - the Lem sips certainly are not working
I'd do it as soon as possible if I was you mate, and at least twice a day.....
...helps stop em multiplying while your antibodies gather for the fight.

Sorry to hear you're feeling ill
