Not sure if it's because of the euphoria we've had with the 2 Wembley trips and promotion or not but at the moment I'm very "meh" when it comes to the England games.

I agree but I'm also enjoying them. It helps when you couldn't care less because everything that could have been achieved last season was achieved!

I'm pretty much 'meh' about the whole Championships. Nothing can possibly get close to that game at Wigan, the two against Walsall and the final against Millwall. Nothing may ever get close to those four games again, but it's too soon to be watching an inferior product played by teams I don't care about when I've still got those matches in my head.

It's a bit like the Olympic year, only we had the best bit first. Now we have to finish our greens.. :D

I was looking forward to it but the horrible undercurrent of violence off the pitch has really put me off.

Take England fans and put them in the same vicinity as the Wales fans ( who so far have been impeccable) stir in sun, alcohol, drugs and add a twitchy riot police force with tear gas... what could possibly go wrong ?

I'm well past the point of being interested in international football. Just cant associate with bang average to poor players who are paid millions a season to get tattoos and feign injury.

Instead had a fantastic weekend in Norwich and avoided the football completely.

Agree with that. England is just an extension of the greed league. Couldn't give two monkeys about overpaid, underperforming, prima donas like Raheem Sterling, Adam Lallana, Harry Kane, Jack Wilshire etc etc. They are so far from being likeable, let alone supportable, that I find myself struggling to even hope we win a game.

Let this carnival of self indulgence end so we can get back to real football.

Not saying that. So far they seem to be better behaved at the moment.

I was really making a point of a general undercurrent within the tournament such as the Germans and Ukraine etc. Not all England by a long way and as for the Russians I dread to think about 2018.

No, it's a natural defence mechanism which protects you from the inevitable crushing disappointment that you would otherwise get when England fail to progress beyond the group stage.

In my opinion the media has an agenda.

I don't disagree with you on that at all.

My major hope is for the Wales game to pass off incident free and the fans to get on.

With regard to the Russians this really worries me that groups of sober fans are going with the specific aim of beating up anyone from the opposition.

    I despair

Can't say I've really cared for years. Of course I hope we win but if we don't can't say I'm bothered. I'm more frustrated when we lose a run of the. Mill league game than if England lose.

So am i. I think it's because I have absolutely no interest in the bland, boring, overpaid premier league robots which means that the same bland players playing for England mean nothing to me.

I wouldn't recognise 90% of the England squad if I walked into them right now

People struggled to get excited about the JPT in the first few rounds.

I wasn't interested, to be honest, until we got to the final. Saw it as a distraction to our perilous league position.
