but what you really need to take into account is this when have we been told about any club wanting Steele apart from the Wolves rumour. If he goes to Wolves then it will be by greed for cash, and not a step forward IMHO. Some argue on here that They are a big club. They are one of the biggest "Nearly" clubs of all time. If Steele was being looked at by almost any of the teams that finished top 8 this term and maybe any of the teams that finished in the bottom half of the Prem , then its good look and farewell. But to drop a division would be a two year backward step, and at 28 is that wise.
Bobby Hassell is a red, is a red, is a red, Bobby Hassell is a red, he hates Hemsworth*. * he probably doesn't because he is a better person than that.
Totally agree DT but I still think if wolves offer Steele more money then I'd be surprised if he turned it down because he'd be banking on bouncing straight back, having said that its only my opinion and could be miles out
I hear what you are saying and totally grasp that point but even if they bounce back, and then storm up to the prem (both of which I doubt very much) he will then be gone 30. with Wolves at best I think he will be past 33 before premier league.
We'll just rewrite the tune to fit the words...I can hear it echoing around the ponty now (no pun intended heehee)
Considering he's played for us for 5 years and never played in the prem he would probably have more chance of playing in the prem with them in the next 5 along with a chance to match or increase his current wages.
