I'm sorry but some criticism is correct but some is so far over the top

We had a poor finish to last season and a bad start to this season and consequently he is quite rightly under pressure. That said we are only 6 games in and are only 4 points off where most people woould be delighted with us finishing (14th), and have only let in 2 goals in the last 3 games, one of which was in the 86th minute.

That alone doesn't mean we are playing well, have the right team, the right players and this isn't my argument, maybe we have maybe we haven't, maybe Davey has taken us as far as we can go. In my opinion you shouldn't sack a manager who has fulfilled his remit for the previous two seasons and is 4 points off of our target for this year only 6 games in. If we continue to lose games then this should be reassesed but even if this was done in November we would not be cut adrift.

But that isn't my main point. My main pint is how can anyone possibley say that Davey is on of the worst manager's we have ever had? He has kept us up twice against bookmakers and other fans expectations and taken us to Wembley and in my opinion on balance improved the playing squad. Manager's quite rightly live and die by there results and if this continues Davey will rightly lose his job, but to compare him with managers whose entire tenure was one of underachievement is wrong.

One final thought, if Davey does get sacked would you be prepared to give his replacement 3 years in the job to have time to build to their plan, even if it meant relegation this season or are you all looking for the quick fix?

He kept us up with Ritchie's players first season.

He kept us up with a mix of his and Ritchie's players second season.

He's taking us down with his players this season.

    That's why.

Based on 6 games of a 46 game season?

So last year he was taking us up then?

OK, lets stick with him til we're in league 1.

I'll await your apology when we are.

To be fair mate if you read what I said i was making the point that in 8 games time if things haven't improved we should sack him but we wouldn't be cut adrift, but that this is too early.

On another note, and I think sacking Ritchie was a ridculous decision, you say he kept us up with Ritchie's players, do you think the squad he inherited was better than the one we have now?

Time will tell on that front I guess.

But we had something back then in a team that won promotion and stayed up.

At the moment we aren't showing signs of anything promising.

I agree mate its a disappointing start. I think in patches we have shown signs, such as first half hour against Cov and if we'd got a goal the whole season might have started differently. Personally i think we have much more quality than when Ritchie left, except McIndoe who we had no choice with.

If we played beautiful football under Davey I would argue to keep him even if we went down, but we don't so if relegation is looking likely then he should be sacked. I just think he has met his targets so far so we should give him longer
