I'm sorry, I've stuck up for Odeajyi for far, far too long.

    He's a terrible striker.

Today, he had two very good chances that a striker in the CCC should be putting away. I'm willing to bet that if you plucked 99 random people from the Ponty end, and put them in the exact same position that Kayode was in for that second chance, they would put it away almost every time. It was ridiculous.

We were clueless today, and in all fairness, Souza has given Reading what they deserved. Because we deserved nothing.

Macken was abject. Cureton never touched the ball. The service was piss poor.

The only two decent players were JCR and Muller. Hassell played pretty well too.

The rest need to hang their heads in shame. Absolute crap.

Exactly mate. He's just a waste of time. He should be putting chances away like that...

With his eyes closed. Waste of time, money and space.

I agree, absolutely hopeless in front of goal.

As much as he's a nice bloke and it's nowt personal therefore, he needs to go. In January.

    Oddjob - time's up I'm afraid

I feel sorry for the lad, he tries hard and has pace, but his touch is awful and his finishing is worse.

Hate to say it Poet, i agree

I was the one that bet £10 on him scoring 10 this season

But you cant keep defending him like today. But having said that, what did AMcken(cue the abuse from bfcbub) do todayand Cureton. SWEET FA.

    JCR

had a poor game today. People around me were laughing when he got man of the match. Only Muller, Hassell and Colace turned up.

That second chance that Oddjob had was calling for a simple side foot finish. Instead he swung wildly at it.
My opinion is that we have not improved on Ferezci and Stan would have been a much better option (and cheeper) than Richters.

no he doesnt try hard. the most effort he puts in is finding the quietest area of the pitch

to go and stand in to avoid looking crap

I would rather have had Barry Conlon or Marc Richards

as our No. 9. Odejayo will never make it as a striker. People complain that Coulson isn't up to it, but he's young and might could make it. That donkey is nearing 30, and will never make it.

Again, I have been one who has wanted him to prove people wrong as he has so many good attributes, pace and power. However, it is becoming embarassing to see the chances he is missing on a regular basis. Fans are now starting to compare him to Dave Regis which is very worrying....

Sorry Kayode time to move on...

What do you find worrying about him being compared to Regis?.

I said that months ago and plenty agreed.

He's not Championship material and I don't think he's any quicker than an averge Championship defender.

He is a poor reader of the game and looks lost half the time.

As for being strong, he doesn't use it to any great affect.

Worst striker we have seen in many a year at Oakwell.

Misses too many easy chances inside the 6 yard box.
