Barnsley manager Keith Hill remains unconcerned about his own future amid speculation the club could soon be the subject of a takeover. Current owner Patrick Cryne has made no secret of his willingness to sell to a suitable buyer, while director Don Rowing confirmed in September that the Tykes had been approached by interested parties and that talks were on-going. Hill said: "We won't really know - will we? - until it actually happens. It's very difficult to suggest what might happen, we've got to deal with here and now. We can't wait; I've always said waiters work in restaurants. The last sentence, quality
Hill should put all his quotes into a book, it would be a best seller. The official guide to Hill and Hillisms, available at all good bookshops while stocks last.
his daft quotes will only mean owt if he has success as a manager.......until then theres only us daft sods take any notice of them.
They are not, just show him to be an idiot at times!! Some on here are so terrified that he will turn out not to be as good as they claim, that they have to cling onto every single thing about him and proclaim its genius!! Reminds me of a part of "LIfe of Brian"
I must be mate. Trouble is I he can get teams to play good football and win either at home or away, never both. He seems incapable of having 2 set ups, one where we can attack and have a bloody good go at teams at oakwell and one where we stifle the game with slow passing and pinching a goal at away matches. Its no good saying he is fantastic when even a blind man can see he has serious failings, but I want him to do well because that means MY team, MY club is doing well. If he does turn out to be as good as some think he is, then I will be delighted for the reasons above.
