Im thinking about getting the train to Walsall

    A return fare is 17.20 but a single is 4.25 wouldnt it be easier to just get 2 single tickets but it seems a bit dodgy to me

    no - get 2 singles if it's cheaper....nowt wrong in doing that, it's bizarre but when we went to Newcastle a return would have been £40 but 2 singles was £19!

    I think so - I booked via trainline website and picked up at Donny Station

    Yes but you'll get it cheaper online. Takes two minutes to do it, saves you going down the station surely?

    I booked tickets from Donny to Newcastle online at thetrainline, picked up from a ticket machine in Donny station....just put in credit card I used online and it printed out the tickets - good system.
