im trying to copy a few mpegs and itunes files on to DVD-R

    when i put the dvd-r in the computer is saying there is no space on it but it is brand new - i thought i should just be able to transfer the files straight onto the D: drive?

    any help? cheers

    im no techy but does the disk need formatting? i sometimes try that and it seems to sort it

    i just eject the disk and stick it back in again and it pops up with a box asking me to format it, sorry iv no real fancy answer :)

    or try a right click on the disk icon located under my computer

    Have you tried burning owt to the disc?

    CDs allus show up saying they're 100% full in Explorer. It's just how they are. Doesn't mean you can't copy stuff onto them.

    You can't just transfer the files mate

    You've got to burn them to the disk. You do this with software like Nero or Roxio.
