    The 'new meadow' is a new (8 ish year old) stadium that replaced gay meadow

    STFC left Gay Meadow in 2007 then went to play at a ground which I think was owned by the Army before moving to their present ground which is about 2 miles form the train station.

    Interesting that MM says he knows the Barnsley personnel well "and the situation they are in..." Wonder what he means by that?
