    Whole idea of running a pub is create an atmosphere where people abide to the rules you set.

    If you choose to let people smoke then fine, but you also choose to accept the fines, like you do when you hold lock ins, or serve under age drinkers.

    Regarding the ex boxer who was shot, he asked someone to stick to the rules and was shot in the process. As terrible as it is, that happens all the time all, due to the idiots that are around in the World we live in. Next time it might be a bouncer who asks someone to take there drink back inside, or catches them taking drugs in the toilets.

    Are we a country that can't respect someone who asks "can you put you cigarette out please?"

    what a load of crap

    Presumable he will allow people to take drugs in his pub as well then because to confront a drug addict and tell them to get out would be contradicting health and safety laws.</p>

    Raping women in the toilets must be allowed in his pub too, it can't be safe to try to get someone who is potentially violent to stop so he should just let them get on with it.</p>
