Mark Robins had them both at one point, fair play to him. But imagine them together now. Wow, as Flicker would say.

I've created a couple of videos, each around 10 minutes in length, highlighting both of their times at Oakwell.

Just to point out, this isn't a case of who is better, or owt like that. Just thought it would be good to do videos of some of our better players in recent times.

Next on my list, are Chris Dagnall, David Perkins and Bobby Hassell.

    You Reds etc.

Both terrific players. Butterfield has a meaner shot on him, is slightly more skillful and is completely two footed but I think Mellis has more of an eye for a pass.

Butterfield, Mellis and Hammill in the same team would pretty much guarantee us at least a couple of goals a game.

Or, a midfield three of Jacob Butterfield, Jacob Burns and Jacob Mellis.

Passing, shooting, dribbling and badly mistimed tackles, what more could you want.

    Vaz Te, Butterfield, Mellis, Hammill.

OK then drop Buttercup and put in Tinkler or Bosancic for some steel/meat in there.

And the opposition a couple of goals a game as well - thats the Kevin Keegan approach - still 4-3 games are more entertaining than 1-0's
