Imagine letting David Perkins take a penalty!

    I was so happy when I saw old Perks step up to take that penalty. He played well today but he can barely kick the ball ten yards, let alone with any power.

    I knew as soon as he stepped up that he'd miss. Same for Davies!

    The Davies one brings back memories

    He hit one of the worst penalties I've ever seen in his last game for us. Sounds similar to the one he hit today!

    I said to Roy when Davies stepped up:

    "this is going right on that 'W'"

    meaning the W of the DW writing on the seating behind the goal.

    It went right on the W.

    A professional footballer should be able to hit the target from the penalty spot. When he misses, it's spectacular. Remember Birmingham? Probably the worst penalty of all time.

    Weird one Davies because pretty much all he has is his shooting ability but from the penalty spot he goes to pieces.

    If they'd put it outside the box he'd probably score more
