Blackburn, Burnley, Palace and Ipswich all appoint managers by November. Sheff Wendy continue their massive slump, until Meeeelan finally sacks Jones end of November. After 10 days, Wendy approach us for King Keith. He wants it, and we lose him to the basterds. And his first game is us at Oakwell. . A few questions - Do you think if that situation occurred, that he'd go? What would you think/say if he did? Do you think I am bored? I am, btw. Very.
I don't get why people think every team without a manager wants ours. He's doing ok with us, but all those clubs have higher targets than just staying in this league. Anyone would think we are top not 17th!
Don't think he'd go to be honest; he would know that the one thing he wouldn't get enough of would be time.
He has odds for every Championship vacancy, so perhaps he's built a decent reputation in football? I know some on here are sceptical about how good he actually is, but it's clear he's well respected by other clubs, and supporters. I have read the Palace, Ipswich and Burnley forums, and they all rate him. And, let's be fair, he's a better manager than Cotterill, Appleton, Dyche, Ince etc, who also have odds. Meanwhile, a growing number of Coventry fans are already gunning for Mark Robins... Football eh?
He did well, but I wouldn't say he achieved anything special. Wheras Keith guided 4th tier regulars to playoffs, promotion, and top ten of the 3rd tier. Then retained our 2nd tier status, against all odds. So I'd suggest Keith is better than Dyche, yes. My messiah? No. Just a very good bloke, decent manager, who I support in the main. However, I do and will criticise him when warranted. Unlike yourself, and a few others, who have nowt positive to say about him, because you refuse to go with the flow, and stick to one train of thought no matter what. So there.
I find it bloody silly how Hill is called King Keef etc. How even his jacket is held in high esteem , but his actual record as manager is ignored.
Imagine if you will You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead---your next stop the Twilight Zone. There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone. You're travelling though another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination--Next stop, the Twilight Zone.
