Improvement under Davey?

    After 39 games last season 46 points, after 39 this season 45 points.</p>

    aye but we have a much better squad now

    apparently.... no mate I cannot work that out either. I tend to look at the tables, like you, and draw a conclusion from there..and that conclusion is that our manager is a bufoon who is destroying us.

    I think that the claims that we have a better squad

    Are just making my opinion stronger that he should go.

    If with much better players we are still performing as badly then the manager is even worse isnt he

    I'm neutral on Davey, but Mr Cryne's stated objective is continuous improvement. For this season that means more than 56 points and no relegation worries.</p>

    On that basis I'm prepared to stick my neck out now and say that Mr Davey has failed to achieve his target.

    In 2 and a half seasons Davey has improved the squad on paper, but not our league position.
    He's had long enough, and had more than enough funds to have made us a solid mid table side by now and has failed to do so, largely due to his inept tactics and general pig headedness.
    Even if we do stay up for me it would be suicide to allow him to continue next season as it is quite clear he will take us down eventually.
