I had him with me for 13 + years. he had hip Dysplatia, and he really had lost quality of life. It hurt like hell making that decission, a friend who had given me so much joy so much pleasure. but I just had to make the decision for the greater good. PATRICK now is your time to end the suffering of many
have you watched this one http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00dzzv2/Guitar_Heroes_at_the_BBC/ without Lez this would never have been possible
Was on after the LP slot. recorded it for Grandson waiting to watch it with him . He is out in Spain and gets his guitar lessons out there
RE: Yes, come on PC. Put Simon out of our misery. nt Didn't know that Simon has hip dysplatia... poor guy (doh)
No problem Those pics are 2-3 years old now, he's 8 years old already which I find hard to believe! I don't think I've got any newer photos on my computer at the moment, as I don't have a digital camera anymore. We had another German shepherd too, Barry (see the pics below), but unfortunately he died two years ago... Barry was just 13 but in the end he could hardly even get up anymore. (He had had some trouble with his hips since a puppy, but it was never a big problem until the last few months.) We all thought that he would get better, but instead of it he only got worse... When Barry eventually got on his feet, he couldn't stay up for long because he was so weak. And I often heard him "crying" in the middle of the night so he was clearly in pain too. I think we really should have done it weeks earlier, but finally we decided that we must end his suffering - it still felt terrible though and it was such a hard decision to make! I think he enjoyed the first 12 and a half years of his life though, so at least that makes me happy... Even though Barry was "just a dog", it really felt like he had become like another family member to us... They're such great animals aren't they?!
RE: No problem It's never easy picking the right time and we always think we could have done better. You just have to tell yourself that you did the best you could. They are great animals and they're shockingly treated by some people. It's clear to see that any dog that ends up at your house has thrown a six Tomi.</p>
