Last Saturday, I had the honour of accompanying Deirdre and Tim as they were treated to a tour of the stadium, as representatives of the Associate Programme Sponsors (by virute of your donations in Steve's memory) presented with a framed copy of the programme. After the game Paul Heckingbottom, the player whose kit you sponsored, presented with a bound copy of Steve's diary notes and your tributes to this brave man. Tim and Deirdre really enjoyed thier day. I know Steve was in our thoughts throughout the day. He would have loved the tour. He was invited by Gordon Shepherd to do the tour but Steve was subsequently never fit enough to take up the invite.

May I on behalf of Steve's widow and son thank you for your donations. I am sure that Steve would have been pleased with your response as his friends. I know he would have been chuffed to bits with our continued Championship status.

If I can get my more computer literate son to help me I will post one or two photos from last Saturday at the weekend.

    Thank you all again.

    Yes, Great Idea.

I was at the shirt presentation, looking after my grandson [thanks for the crisps by the way].

Post some details of the account, or where I can send a cheque.
