Yes we've had a good start to the season (until today) but 10 men or not 5-1 is a real drubbing and it's not finished yet. Thats 12 goals shipped in 5 games, 14 in 6 including the cup. I said it all summer and I still say it now, SIGNING A CENTREHALF IS A MUST !! Preferably an experienced one. If only one signing is to be made that should be the priority.
Disagree on that one.. we appeared to be matching them until the 3rd goal and that looks like it knocked the guts out of a team who appeared to showing a lot of effort and spirit despite the bad decision by the ref.
Maybe you're right about the centre-half but... When all's said and done we've had a good start even including today - it was always gonna be difficult and we've come away with nowt but we're still in a great league position and I still applaud (all of) the lads for what they've done so far! I'm not suggesting you don't neither - just having mi two-pennorth!!!
Perhaps with Kay now serving a suspension... he may be forced to bring in a centre half for a month on loan?
well of all positions , I have said that was needed all along.. a center half of stature/experience. we will be ok and will not go down, but I have thought since we won promotion that a really good solid center half was a priority. its where we lack the most.
