    For obvious reasons.
But, at the risk of repeating myself, I love this club, players, coaches & staff. They've given me one of the best years I've ever had as a Barnsley fan. Here we are in the week leading up to Christmas 12th in the table. We won promotion. We won a cup for the first time since 1912. We visited Wembley and won. Twice. We are six points from the Play Offs. We're eleven points from the relegation places. We have a positive goal difference. We are the second highest goalscorers in the Division, only Newcastle have scored more. We play some truly wonderful & entertaining football at times. We get 100% commitment from our players, from the first minute to the last. We have a team in the truest sense of the word. We have some truly Championship quality players, despite very few of them ever having played at this level prior to the start of the season. We have an outstanding Head Coach who also happens to be a local lad and a fan. We have an outstanding owner who also happens to be a local lad and a fan. We have people working on the staff at the club behind the scenes who are local and are fans of the club.
There is so much to be happy about with our club, in what as been a brilliant year.

Well put mate, some folk just need to get a grip and also embrace the festive season as well. Hope your feeling a little better after the sad loss of your beloved pet/ friend/ family member.

Good post. Barnsley at this time are the gift that keeps on giving. Tearing up the rule book on bogey teams and a push for the playoffs. All back at our second ground in May.

I was a bit too young to appreciate the premiership season so this has definitely been my best year as a Barnsley fan.

So many likeable players you can relate to with passionate Barnsley men owning, managing & playing centre back for the club & two incredible trips to Wembley with a squad that just keeps on getting better.

Well said Kev and wraps up my feelings exactly .

I'd give you post of the year but Sheffield Star have probably already given it to a Blunts Fan ,
Not much chance of getting it back neither as Sam Winnalls still waiting for his award off Billy Blunt.
