We seemed to go most of the close season without bringing anyone in , with the exception early on of Neil Thompson . To add insult to injury we also saw established players like Lee Butler , Owen Archdeacon , Brendan O'Connell and Andy Payton leave . The previous season had ended as a damp squib , with very few wins and the team slipping below Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town in the final table . Doom and gloom appeared rampant among some of the fans . Then it all started to happen one week in July . On the Monday we signed Jovo Bosancic , Tuesday it was the turn of Matty Appleby , Wednesday brought us Clint Marcelle and Thursday saw Paul Wilkinson putting pen to paper . We'd gone from famine to feast in less than a week . With any luck , something similar is on the cards very shortly . Keep the faith . (Y) (Y)
Call it what you will But I have faith in Andy Ritchie & Gordon Shepherd to bring in at least three new players in time for the Cardiff game .
I knew This would happen if we didnt sign someone 5 mins after the penalty save. I've come to expect all this now Kev from folk on here. (zzz)

We're back from holiday on the 12th Two weeks in sunny Flamborough !! We'll sort something out nearer the time little buddy .(Y)
