rotherhamhave already turned down a bid in excess of £250,000 for williamson and expect a bidding war as they are in discussion with 4 interested clubs. He wants to play at an higher standard and won't sign a new contract. His current contract runs out in the summer. The latest bid was made verbally from a championship club but rotherham will have to give 20% of the fee because of a sell on clause in the contract.
They have put £1m price tag on Hoskins and have already turned down a £500k offer from a championship club. Over30 scouts have been to watch him in the last 4 games.

They seem to be a bit optimistic about their players, especially if they're out of contract in the summer. Surely they should accept any decent offer they get becuase it's got to be better than the zero they'll get in a few months time. They've got to realise they're a league one club and there are plenty of players Championship clubs could go for where the clubs would be more sensible in the amount of money they will require for players, and certainly those whose contracts are running out.
Remember , that argument can also be used against us If cash offers are made for the likes of Howard and Hassell . We can't argue that Rotherham should sell their best players to us ( due to the contracts expiring this summer ) , if we aren't prepared to do the same with ours , even if it's to other Championship clubs .
