How do you make index numbers¹ in MS Word?
I'm using MS Word 2000 but I guess it's pretty much the same in every version...
There must be some easy way to add those, but I can't find anything in the menus.

    ¹ like this :)

Ok, thanks for that, but what about the small (index) numbers¹ on the top-right corner of a word?
How do I make them? I know how to make fonts smaller of course, but how to make them "float"?

¹ if you're wondering how I got that one, I copied it from Character Map, but there's only ¹ ² ³ in there! :)S)

Are you thinking of footnotes? In the 'Insert' menu.

    Do you mean superscript?

    like this?

12345677 34345454

If you do then just type the number, click on Format then Font and put a tick in Superscript. You will have to untick it when you have finished or all the text you type will remain superscripted.

    Thanks to you too Cazi

even if you were a little bit slower than Paul! :D

I've never even noticed those text effects there before, some of them could come in handy.
