    We should win on paper.
However blackpool are more than likely going to play two organised banks of four and look to hit on the counter attack. They beat scunny played well at gillingham and wrre a tad unlucky.
The question has to be over johnsons abilty to set a team that can break this kind of defence.
Weve seen v burton bradford and shrewbury a struggle to do so against such teams.

Yeah, we have a habit of under-performing against teams that are in poor form. I don't think this is as guaranteed as some people expect it to be.

I think Blackpool will play like the away side, and try do to us like we did away at Millwall and against Everton. If we try to take the game to them, we've to be wary of the counter attack, and I fear we'll have to ground out a result and win ugly rather than race off into the sunset like last weekend.

I still think we'll have enough for the win, but I reckon it'll be deep into the 2nd half when we get the winner. 0-1 One of the centre halves to score from a corner. I'll go for Mawson.

They beat Scunny for their first win in ages the other week and only narrowly lost to top of the table Gillingham last week, where by the sounds of it they set up to defend and were unlucky not to score more on the counter. Very wary of this one and would be delighted to come away with 3 points via any means possible. It could be an own goal deflected in off their defender's arse and it wouldn't matter, as long as we win.

This is a game realistically we should be winning.
Set the team up accordingly to attack and give it our best shot.
A defeat today would be a real kick in the goolies
A victory on the other hand would build on last Saturdays victory creating some positive momentum for the visit of Gillingham.
Come on Reds do the business!

I put it in my 6 fold as I worked my way down the fixtures, removed it in the end.

Lj can't win on this one choose what if reds win its because Blackpool are a **** team so no special fête and if we lose he'll be the worst manager since the last one or the one before etc.

If the aim this season is indeed a play off push, then no disrespect to Blackpool, but we should be looking to win this game with some comfort.

Course we should be looking to win these games handsomely as you say ànd we'll all be hoping/expecting that to happen but teams going for promotion do sometimes falter at these hurdles without adverse effects on their season. It is possible to be disappointed without ringing the bell of doom.

Agree, however it all depends on the team selection and manner of the performance for me to be disappointed.

Play Winnall up top with Smith or Jackson.

Why bring Smith to the club if he can't get a game ?
