Johnson, Ricketts & Colgan probably, but depends on who is comming in. If Werling and Nyatanga leave we will need Reid as cover.

    Nope neither of those

The fact he keeps playing ODJ makes me think he sees something there - we all thought he looked good to start as well - maybe he will settle eventually. Mossto - everyone seems to think it will be 6 months for him to settle so I cant see us getting rid after most of that time has passed

    Christensen?

Doubt it? £300k down the drain just like that?

I think we'll loan out one of our strikers and bring another in.

    I think Andy Ritchie

Is a true gentleman & very likeable. I think Simon Davey is a better manager. As a club, I think Barnsley are moving in the right direction both on and off the field. Mistakes were made when budgeting for squad rebuilding during 2006. This was rectified in 2007.
We enter 2008 in a far healthier state of affairs than we did 2007. Hopefully, it'll be even better when we enter 2009.

hypathetically in a CM manager style - If I were Simon Davey I would....

    all hypathetical deals......

    OUT

Paul Reid - not good enough for championship in my opinion

Colgan - I'm a fan of his but he's asked to leave and why stop him.

Hecky - not good enough for championship

Andy Johnson - he was great for forest, WBA and looked ok first few games for us I though. But he has obviosuly had a fall out with SD and looks to be on his way.

Togwell - has featured much and his sale would provide cash to buy new players.

Odejayi - needs games and experience (and a first touch) I'd ship him out on Loan in lower leagues

    IN

    Jon Macken from Derby

    Steffen Iversen from Rosenbourg

    Ross Turnbull from Boro

De Silva from Everton worth breaking the bank to sign this lad!

James Vaughan loan deal from Everton

Dominik Werling - has done enough to secure a deal. just hope fall out rumours with SD aren't true.

Lewin Nayatanga - Loan extension to end of season. Looking at Derbys squad they have alot of players in his position and first team experience can only be good for his development.
