I had a very good insight into a matchday at Oakwell. My son was mascot and had a fabulous day ... apart from the result. I must say the players were very professional and curteous. Mr Davey was also very polite. Mr Davey had fully prepared the players but was very frustrated at the weaknessnes in midfield. Each player had a paper with instructions and in the dressing room it was more like a classroom, with a board with each of the oppositions strengths and weaknesses on. The players certainly had respect for Davey, they all turned up for the match in suits, no mobiles allowed in the changing rooms etc etc A manager can't play for them once they cross that line. At the end of the day we all want success for Barnsley Football club and we should all back them together! Come on you reds! Young Nudger and dream girl go pester some other board!
Getting........ told to go by someone with the first ever post is a new one for me. You called the players 'professional and curteous' but was obviously on about before the game. When they didn't even acknowledge the fans yesterday at the final whistle i don't think they were very professional and curteous.
