which has been the main topic of conversation and concern here for a couple of weeks, because we all thought Davey thought he was a midfielder.</p>

If he knows he isn't a midfielder he shouldn't play him in midfield. Simple as.

That's why I wasn't selected as opening batsman for the England cricket team.

England do play everyone out of position though. In ODI's vs SA we are going to open with Bell and Shah, none are openers.

 

While Davey may have his faults, i dont think any of us can lay the blame at his door for the authorities dragging their heels, this is a legality, not management error.

 

Exactly, though I don't think some people are able to see that. It seems everything that goes wrong is Davey's fault.

I think he's **** to be honest. I won't pretend I don't. As I've stated elsewhere. I love the club and I'll back the players but I don't see the talent in Davey that others do and many of his decisions are toss and show no signs of changing or improving.

 

Its taken him how many games to see the blindingly obvious

not having a go just saying that he's being given credit here for something thousands of us could have told him months ago

use a defender and yet have two midfielders at the club one of which he has now let go, the other who he seems to have some petty vendetta with as he did with Radio Sheffield... his ineptness is staggering but whats more staggering is the blinkered refusal to come to terms with this fact,by many on here, and realise he is taking us nowhere.... except to mediocrity and perhaps backwards

It was the club who had issues with Radio Sheff not Davey.</p>

How can you be so blinkered to ignore all the good he's done?</p>

The signing of Muller/Steele/Foster/Kozluk/De Silva/JCR/Macken/Hume for example. All very good championship players. Took us to Wembley in the cup for the first time in how many years?!</p>

The fact is, Togwell, whilst decent, isn't a long term solution, he cannot play anywhere else, and in my eyes wasn't even THAT good a defensive midfielder, whereas Hassell can play there (albeit not particularly well) but is VERY good cover at CB and at full back. Johnson is slow, old and ****. Plus he's unfit.</p>

And how the **** is he taking us backwards?!</p>
