I didn't see anything remotely right- wing in that.
What i did see was a great deal of super hyperbole.
Saying that, i would strongly argue that brexit will take a huge toll on the working class people of this country over the next 20-30 years or so.

Wasn't it the working class who voted leave based purely on immigration?

The North's are a bit nihilistic in their approach - everything is rubbish and all politicians are corrupt/useless - whilst that's based in truth... they have predicted quite a bit of stuff during the brexit process with an absolute air of authority which has turned out to be nonsense.

A good read for an insight though, if you're open minded enough about it all. You don't have to agree with him & Richard.

Further, I like to read these folk - anathema to some, but again, with an open mind if you read the words, not what you assume them to be, then some decent insight.

I found it interesting given that the author is chair of Leave.org.

If we leave with nothing in place it'll be chaotic but you would have thought that someone who. Campaigned so vigourosly would try to downplay the impact. Interesting times.

Adam smith are quite interesting I did some work with them a couple of years ago. The ones I dealt with were nice but I found there world view sad and depressing and out of touch with the reality of neo liberalism

Couldn't be more further opposite ('havanared' would kind of give it away i'd have thought). It is easy to scream 'that's far right' or 'left' if one disagrees with an argument. For me this is simply bog-standard middle of the road conservatism.

Personally, I think he is a little too optimistic about the immediate consequences. Now that our esteemed leader has warned business to expect No Deal, business will start enacting their fall-back strategies - or at least those that have them (those that haven't probably deserve to fail). Given the time-lines for moving operations, expect to see the first going in the next six months, followed by a flood in the year after that.

I was reading a blog earlier where someone who is briefing DExEU was being ignored completely by those in charge. This includes on legality of certain courses of action and potential ramifications of some of the decisions that they are trying to make. The general consensus appears to suggest it would be a good idea to stock up on food before March 2019 unless something is sorted before then.

Yes i'd say it's a fairly well balanced argument coming from an extremely partial source.

It's getting a bit tiring on here to try to make a balanced comment and be called a right wing extremist. I think its getting to the point where political threads need shunting onto another part of the forum.
That's not a barb aimed at the o.p but it seems just about any non football, current affairs thread is in danger of being dragged into extremist hysteria and name calling.

I'm hoping izzy hasn't lost any pace after his lay off as if he loses the ball he is normally quick enough to catch the full back and atone for his error.

    Yep
I get called a 'far right winger' ( which i find utterly offensive) simply through offering an observation on a post.
    Bonkers.
