Just on my way home after a nice night earning/grafting. Overtime is good time, and a half. . So, who will Keith pick today?? He has hinted at changes IMO. And I feel that he would be right to. Wiseman showed up well at LB tuesday. Does he start today, with Shirley back where he's best utilised? And what of the two who started central in that game? You would be a brave man to think Jacob would be dropped. So does Danny D make way? Or, does he go back to the three in midfield against Bowyer and Andrews? Surely Jimbo and Vaz Te start wide? But then what about Matty Done? He's unlucky to not be a regular I reckon. And finally, the frontmen. Or perhaps frontman... I like the look of Ranger. But he and Davo up top together didnt quite work for me. Wheras, when Haynes played with Craig, we looked more of a threat. I noticed the lad at LB for Palace - Ramage. He dropped so deep, he was nearly sat in the Ponty. He offers that, does Danny boy. He scares defenders just thru his speed. And tbf to the lad, he looked the part in his 35 mins. Comparing him to his displays early season, he looked more at ease. I would be tempted to start with him. Against the club he started at too. He was known as 'Derby' Haynes at Ipswich, due to the goals he got against Norwich. Funny that, he was the derby doublist last year for us wasnt he? I tend to think though, that Keith will maybe make the Wiseman change, and drop Drinklager. But I expect him to retain The Loan Ranger up top.. and what of Andy Gray, Miles Addison, Rob Edwards...? Just shows you, both how nice it is to have options, and how well we did when we had none.. UP THE TARN! I fancy a few goals today, and Ipswich will score at least one - Chops I bet (lol).. But surely we will at least get a point, and all being well, ALL THREE! Get behind em, and lets show the world (its being shown live in at least 24 different countries) how little ol Barnsley are on their way back! YOU BEAUTIFUL REDS
Perkins in centre midfied,Ranger and Davies up front the selection problem should be between Butterfield and Drinkwater.
