Come January, and the defence is still performing to the recent high standards, due in no small part to Colace, and the added steel and balance that he brings to the midfield. However, we are still not scoring bucketloads. The Blunts decide that they want to give us Howard back. Do we leave the midfield as it is, or bring Howard back into the side, which gives us more attacking options but unsettles the balance of the midfield, and therefore potentially the balance of the whole team, either by dropping Colace or changing the system in order to accommodate him? Discuss.......

    yes interesting as you say
however i would prefer to move on from that senario and we " sign/loan " a proper centre forward that can have the effect that ishmail Miller had on west broms season and indeed that Frazer campbell had on hulls - we will score a bagfull if we had that type of player

Make no mistake about it. Howard will NEVER play for Barnsley FC again. nt

Dunno. If he was handed back to us, not sure what would happen (apart from the fact that he would almost certainly end up leaving for free)
