    kickoff 7.00pm Thurs 11th Jan


    If you are local, then get down to this match. The people at Wath St James have taken this to heart and there will be quite a crowd along the touchline.

    The lads in these two teams are busting to impress the crowd and maybe get a trial at the Academy.

    Get yersens down theear, yer lucky Barstewards, I wish I could be there....free anawl.

    Might stroll up with the dog, only 10 mins away. Where is Queens Ground on Barnsley Road, anybody know? Is it the one opposite The Junction pub?

    If you walk down the bypass

    towards ventura its on your right behind the dearnesman pub.</p>

    I'm not sure if you can get to it that way but you can see it from the bypass.</p>

    Nice little ground tbh</p>

    Its behind the petrol station, on Barnsley rd.</p>

    Theres a gap in the houses just past the garage.(floodlights will be on)</p>

    Here are some directions:-

    "Follow signs to Wath-upon-Dearne and on arrival at the Large Brewsters roundabout follow sign for West Melton. Travel 1m along Barnsley Rd over speed humps. Dearnesman Pub will be on left hand side, travel 200yds & turn left just before the Jet Petrol Station. Ground & parking straight infront".


    Get there early - -

    Oh yes! There is going to be a hamburger stand, if you feel like dining out.......

    Heather, the owner of St James Squash Club where the young lads are based, reckons Terry Butcher will be in the club for a buffet after watching the match.

    Good on him for doing stuff for the young uns.
