internet help

    I have lost the address bar on my pc. How do I get it back on? This is the only site I can access because it is my homepage

    Presuming you're using IE
    View menu at top left - select Toolbars and select "Address bar"

    It is already ticked but still not on

    It wont help you get it back, but you can press control-l to get a pop-up location box.

    where the address bar should be, right click, then you'll see all what you have ticked. untick (if ticked) then retick it. </p>

    just worked for me.. hope this helps. </p>

    If you have Windows XP use; Start/Help & Support/Undo changes to your computer with System Restore/Restore my computer to an earlier time/Next/ and select a date where you know it was working (make sure you didn't install any important software after this restore point or you will lose it.
