    Its actually quite balanced

Not sure if its already been posted but if not

    http://www.barnsleyone.com/article_template.php?seqno=801

Wonder if he has been given permission to write an article that basically says Davey needs to get some results or else

"Going toe to toe with Man City" what a load of rubbish, it was a friendly...

City going at half pace through the motions, does he think that if City were the visitors to Oakwell or Saturday it would be "toe to toe" they would batter us! Pre-season results mean nothing.

RE: "Going toe to toe with Man City" what a load of rubbish, it was a friendly...

Totally agree mate, you cannot judge a team either way on friendly results.

If we are being honest, only poor finishing stopped Man City racking up a comfortable victory. If they had however, that wouldn't provde BFC were bad or otherwise in the context of it only being a friendly.

It's the same sort of tripe that Giddings bloke trots out on Radio Dee Dah. Cliched sound bites with little thought put into the situation.

This Stokes guy is little more than a puppet of BFC and I have yet to read anything on there, I couldn't have got earlier from another website such as this. (furious) (furious)

We don't want fans, do we?

    They're all rubbish.

As you rightly say - League One attendances - get League One football.
Just look at Burnley, for instance.

    Oh, wait a minute.

the fans know best. give the fans what they want. A Dream Team of Danny Wilson, Nick Griffin, Sponge Bob Square Pants, my "mate" Mark and Barbara Woodhouse.

RE: We don't want fans, do we?

I'd take that team over Davey at the moment.
I think Sponge-Bob would be class.

Yeah - those pesky fans not turning up is the problem.
Nothing to do with having a Manager whose socks are made from baked beans & a squad that is lighter than Dirk's wallet after a night in the Rhino.

You have so much blind faith.
    I respect that.
    It's a bit like being a Christian, I suppose.

    Quality.

Jay's Mum is stopping us from signing a player.

We need to recruit players from Bikini Bottom.

Have you written a song for Iain Hume yet?
    It's the law.
    Everyone has to do it.

    when I said balanced

What I meant was balanced as in balanced on the fence

Not as Pro Davey as usual but not yet in the style of the article about Howard just heading that way ...

    He's a company man

'...but when it all falls into place this team is good enough to beat any side.'

Even the most wide eyed optimistic of fans don't think that.

I'm afraid the trouble is that Simon Davey is not the man. Get a proper manager in charge and he'll make something reasonable out of them - not special, but reasonable.
