He seems totally deflated and lost. Everyone is superb, but we are still losing. I think he is now realising he is not going to pull the rabbit out of the bag.
He like us is losing confidence

I didn't get that from listening his interview. Yes he's disappointed but I don't think he sounded resigned to not being being able to pull the rabbit out of the bag as you put it.

He reiterated that we will soon pull out of the position we are in.., Williams back in contention

Got to stop silly mistakes etc etc

I wonder who the one player is that he wasn't happy with?

Trouble is he's been saying the same thing for weeks, 'specially the silly mistakes

It must be the goalie tonight. Not the best display and I do feel Lee prefers Townsend anyway. I suppose we'll know on Saturday?

Didn't think Davies was that bad myself, certainly never sunk to the depths that Townsend has plumbed.

Smith wasn't great, Bree's crossing left a bit to be desired and Toney offered little.

Davies wasn't great. I say that as a fan of his, especially over Townsend. Full backs I felt were good. Toney just seems awkward which does cause defenders problems but he looks like a kid who's learning the ropes and he's not ours. If we're borrowing lads we need them to be bang at it surely? Like the Coventry lad from the same club, Armstrong is it?

Our recruitment post Wilson is questionable to say the least. Name me a good signing.
