did they say when they would let you know? I always tell people when i will contact them when i interview.
"will be in touch very soon" funny thing is i left REALLY thinking I'd got it as it went so well...how would you take me chasing you...plus would I be better emailing/calling?
I always tell people when i will tell them by, so to me if they havent said then you would be well within your rights to check - i thought the norm was to give a time period when you would be informed by. I would say if they seemed like they needed someone quickly and you havent heard not to get your hopes worked up
small dealer group in sheffield, just bought 2 new sites in derby tho' so that could be why he's taking his time ?? waiting around is killing me!
I'd give them a call If they said they would be in touch soon I think a week is long enough to give them a call and find out what is happening. If you call politely and just inquire it cant do any harm if they are still trying to decide. If they already decided at least you will know. Unfortunately a lot of people these days dont even bother to let the rejects know. Not good practice but it happens
I always do and i must admit its hard because when you call the person normally gets excited and then you have to let them down, but they at least normally seem happy you have let them know personally (i know cos i had to tell 10 people they hant got the job and only employ 2 recently)
I always let people know as well Though if its a no I usually write or email - and put the reasons in the reply. Unless they came via an agent in which case calling the agent is usually easier
Don't bother mate My dad was the one that interviewed you - he says you haven't got it. He says loads went for it and he hasn't got time to tell all the insuccessful applicants.
