I tried jailbreaking my iPhone and it buggered up. Now when I try connecting it to laptop it's saying device not recognised. I've restarted my laptop, unconnected/reconnected iPhone. Still saying it. Looked at device management, no iPhone listed, or apple device. Searched google, no help. Anyone know what to do? Thanks

report it stolen as you've broken it and voided the warranty or reboot to factory settings

    I've just jailbroke my 3Gs :)

right you need to reset the phone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the phone and the home button at the same time. Hold them both until you see the screen go black and the white Apple logo appear. When this happens, you can let go - the iPhone should then reboot.

do this while its connected to the pc..

    you get

to customise your phone, plus you get free apps that are not endorsed by apple, i've just put tomtom gps on my phone and saved me'sen 65 quid on that app alone. there is soooo much you can do once its jailbroken.
