I've just updated my iTunes software for the first time in three years. The software on my iPod has been updated but all my music has been deleted. When I try to synch my iPod library it says "cannot connect to this iPod touch". That's all I know. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

I had a similar problem and I did a restore and reset the account on my laptop. If memory serves me correctly I think I got all my downloaded (from iTunes) back but some of the songs i copied from CD had to be redone manually.
